Overview
A glass shower screen makes a bathroom feel bigger and keeps the wet zone contained, but it only works if it is sealed and fixed correctly. Water tracking out of a poorly sealed screen, or a panel that is under-fixed, turns a nice upgrade into a daily leak and a safety worry.
We supply and install tempered glass shower screens and glass doors — fixed, hinged, and sliding — with proper sealing at the base and edges and secure fixing to the wall and floor. Glass is measured on site and specified to the correct thickness and safety grade.
What we cover
Fixed, hinged, and sliding tempered glass shower screens, framed or frameless, sealed to contain the wet zone.
Interior glass doors and panels for bathrooms, studies, and partitions, with suitable hinges or sliding tracks.
Correct sealant at the base and edges and secure fixing to wall and floor so panels stay watertight and stable.
On-site measurement and the correct tempered thickness and safety grade for each panel and opening.
How it works
We measure the shower or opening after tiling, since the finished surfaces determine the exact panel sizes.
Panel layout, glass thickness, and hardware are confirmed for the location and how the screen or door will be used.
Panels are fitted with secure fixings to wall and floor, hinges or tracks set, and doors aligned to swing or slide cleanly.
Edges and the base are sealed against water, the door operation checked, and the glass cleaned before handover.
Yes — shower screens use tempered (toughened) glass, which is far stronger than normal glass and, if it ever breaks, shatters into small blunt pieces rather than sharp shards. We specify the correct thickness and grade for each panel.
Frameless looks cleaner and is easier to keep clean, while framed screens are more economical and can be more forgiving of slight wall irregularities. We advise based on your bathroom, budget, and how square the surfaces are.
A correctly sealed screen with the right base seal and a slight fall to the trap keeps water in the wet zone. Leaks usually come from missing seals or poor fixing, which proper installation avoids.
